The project
Standing-seam “Metal Look” fabric awnings
Park Road in West Hartford is a walkable restaurant row, which means a storefront is competing for attention with a dozen others inside one block. The brief here was the architectural metal look without the architectural metal budget, and this is the job that shows what our standing-seam fabric does: the same crisp vertical ribs and clean horizontal line you get from fabricated metal, custom-fit across the whole facade, in a deep red matched to the brand. Because it is fabric rather than rigid metal, it followed the storefront exactly and went up faster, and when it eventually needs freshening it can be recovered on the existing frame instead of replaced. From across the street it reads as metal. That is the entire point.
