Manchester Awning and Canvas Products has been designing, sewing, welding, and installing custom awnings from Manchester, Connecticut since 1947.
Our story
Same town. Same craft. Since 1947.
Before big-box stores sold awnings in a cardboard box, there were canvas shops — places that measured your home, cut and sewed the fabric, welded the frame, and stood behind the work. Manchester Awning is one of the last of them.
For nearly eight decades we've shaded Connecticut's porches, patios, storefronts, and factories. The tools have improved — motorized retractables, solution-dyed acrylics, architectural metal — but the promise hasn't changed: we build it for your building, and we have you covered.
Today the shop is led by Jeff — the same Jeff customers name in their reviews — and runs as a service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SBA certified).
